Located on the heart of Kings Island, Limerick City. Travelling from Dublin, follow the signs for Shannon Airport and King John's Castle is on your left. From Shannon Airport follow the signs for Dublin and the castle will be on your right.
Craggaunowen is located off the R469 near the village of Quin Co. Clare. The route is clearly signposted at several junctions on the N18 Limerick Galway route and also from R462 from Cratloe Co. Located 300 yards on the coast road outside the village of Kinvarra on the Galway side.
From Shannon Airport / Limerick city take the N18 through Ennis and Gort. Turn left at the village of Adrahan and continue to Kinvara.
From Galway, take the Galway / Limerick Road (N18) from the city, through Oranmore and Clarinbridge to Kilcolgan. In the village of Kilcolgan, turn right and continue to Kinvarra.

Knappogue Castle, is located just outside Quin Village, and is just 15 miles from Shannon Airport.
From Shannon Airport take the main Ennis / Galway road (N18 ) taking the Quin exit, travel to the village of Quin, turn left on arrival to the village and then follow the signs to Knappogue Castle (2 miles).
From Limerick City, take the main Limerick / Galway road (N18 ) taking the Quin exit, travel to the village of Quin, turn left on arrival to the village and then follow the signs to Knappogue Castle.
