In an event dedication to commemorating ‘cartoon capers’, favourite cartoon characters are winging their way to Bunratty Folk Park on Easter Monday 13th April. Life sized cartoon characters will include Mickey & Minnie, Snow White and a host of others. Children and adults are encouraged to come dressed as pirates or princesses to take part in an packed programme of events at a special Captain Cook Pirate corner, where games will include ‘blind walks’, ‘treasure hunts’, and a lesson in how to make a pirate sword from balloons.
A great day for all the family is planned, with a Mad Hatters tea party, story time with Snow White, face painters, stilt walker’s and jugglers, all on hand to create a magical atmosphere. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.
