Visit Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and marvel at the superb 15th century castle and 19th century Folk Park depicting Irish rural and village life.  Bunratty Castle, built in 1425, contains 15th and 16th century furnishings and tapestries.  The Folk Park, set on 26 acres, features a watermill, a church, a village street, a magical walled garden, a playground and various farm animals.

Magnificent  13th  Century King John’s Castle is just waiting to be explored while Craggaunowen brings you back to early Celtic life with its Crannogs, Ring Forts and wild boar ! 15th. century Knappogue Castle now includes a delightful Victorian walled garden  which is just waiting to be explored ! The new Brian Boru Heritage Centre traces the life of Irelands most famous High King.  Lough Gur Stone Age Centre houses an exhibition on the archaeology of the area while 15th Century Dunguaire Castle tells the story of the people who lived in this picturesque castle
