Shipping and Returns

The price of the goods indicated in the shopping area includes value added tax where applicable but does not include shipping. As you proceed through the checkout section of your purchase the shipping charge applicable will be indicated and added to your purchase. For most purchases the full price that you pay including shipping will Guarantee that the product reaches your home, however in certain situations particular countries add a duty charge for import of particular products and collect that on delivery which we cannot anticipate or control. Delivery can be made to Countries in the European Union as well as many non EU Countries. We will try and satisfy orders to other Countries but unfortunately due to factors beyond our control we cannot supply to particular countries that are current war zones or have other conflict or danger situations that preclude normal commercial activity. When creating your account you will be required to choose a country from our drop down menu. Countries listed in this menu are the only countries we can deliver to at this time.

Amendments to delivery details cannot be made after goods have been dispatched. For lead times on gifts please see section below dealing with delivery lead times. Please note that Shannon Heritage cannot be responsible for adverse weather conditions affecting delivery times or other universal or unanticipated events.

The buyer is responsible for providing the correct daytime delivery address, telephone number and postal code where applicable. Shannon Heritage only accepts delivery addresses that are identical to Credit Card or customer account addresses. The Company cannot accept responsibility for late or non delivery if the recipients address and telephone details are incorrect or insufficient. Any shortfall in delivery should be notified to the Company within 2 days of receipt of goods. Claims of non delivery must be made within 30 days of dispatch of goods and no more than 10 days from receipt of goods by the customer. If any item is temporarily out of stock we will notify you of the delay and dispatch as soon as it arrives. All items are subject to availability. Once an order has been dispatched no amendment can be made to the order.

Stock Availability

Subject to stock availability, shipment of all orders from Shannon Heritage will occur within 2-3 working days of receipt of order. If this is not possible for any reason we will notify you of the problem and of any delay that will occur.

The lead time for delivery to different zones is approximately as follows:-
IRELAND3 – 4 working days
U.K.1 Week
EUROPE2 Weeks
U.S.A.2 Weeks
Delivery timescales are indicative only. Our delivery charges are set at the current rates applicable to the particular country but Shannon Heritage reserve the right to amend delivery charges but will not do in retrospect ie a customer will only pay the amount indicated at the time of sale.

Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order

We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on 'Confirm Order' on the Shopping Basket page of our ordering process. If for any reason, we are unable to fulfill your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered. If you require any information concerning your order please email us at onlinesales@shannonheritage.com quoting your order number. Your order may not be accepted if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.

Ownership Rights and Limitations

All goods are the property of the Company until all goods are delivered and all debts outstanding to the Company are paid in full. This site, its content and its trade names used by the Company are protected by intellectual property rights and permission is only given for personal use. Any use beyond that permitted may constitute an infringement of owners' rights and may lead to prosecution.

Inspection

On receipt of your delivery you should inspect the products and check that everything ordered is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the delivery unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem, or you cancel your order in acceptance with your cancellation right and/or you return the goods in accordance with our returns policies and procedures. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the goods at a later date.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

It is the policy of Shannon Heritage to ensure that all goods are supplied to customers in perfect order and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product sold. The Company shall take all reasonable care in packaging any fragile or breakable items. If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please notify us immediately by email to onlinesales@shannonheritage.com to request a replacement or refund. Our customer service staff will assist you in returning the product to us. Proof that the item in question is faulty or has been damaged will be required by our staff, this may require the merchandise be returned to Shannon Heritage.

If you require a replacement, subject to availability, a replacement item will be shipped to you. The cost of shipping this replacement item to you will be borne by Shannon Heritage if the circumstances are such that the problem with the product lies with us. If you require a refund due to the conditions of goods that request should be made to onlinesales@shannonheritage.com with full details. Refunds are processed by our Secure Payments provider. If you are due a refund you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.

This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process the refund request. We will notify you via email of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.

Payment

Payment can be made by any of the following methods; Paypal, Visa or Mastercard. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the point at which your order is despatched. You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. Please note that all credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of the your payment card refuses to pay or does not for any reason authorise payment to Shannon Heritage, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of goods. We retain the legal ownership of all goods until full payment has been made by you and received by us and legal ownership of the goods will immediately transfer back to us if we refund any payment for the goods to you.
