Shannon Heritage Banquets

Shannon Heritage have three main banquets which take place at Bunratty Castle, Knappogue Castle & Dunguaire.

The idea of medieval banquets came about as a result of the need to give transatlantic passengers a reason to get off aircraft at Shannon Airport, located only a few kilometres from the castle, and tour the local area.

Now 60 years our banquet experiences are considered one of the longest running and prestigious dining experiences in Ireland. Enjoyed over the years by international dignities, celebrities, US Presidents and First Ladies, they are a must on any itinerary to Ireland.
